The Power Tower System

Electricity generation, through Concentrated Solar Power (CSP), is produced using receivers located on top of a tall reinforced concrete tower. The tower must be designed to support a major load at its apex, and must be constructed within the allowable parameters to achieve optimal aiming of the heliostats surrounding the tower.

Becoming involved with our clients during the early stages of the project planning and design process is key to achieving the most efficient design possible for the overall project.

Structural Analysis and Design
